In Tallahassee, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Florida, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. As many, many reviews have said, this place is truly a diamond in the rough. From the owner to the food and drinks, itβs simply a great place to spend a few hours. The prices make this feel more like a βthird placeβ than somewhere you must keep shelling out money and myself as well as my visiting company felt extremely welcomed as βdrop insβ. Seriously, give this place a chance if you go to or are in Tallahassee.

We had a great experience. Perfect game for a date! The owner was so nice to pick out the perfect game, set it up, and explain it to us in detail. For $5 you get to play as a non-member and you get a free drink. We will definitely be back!

An unexpected and wonderful find. This place is a true hub for board games and in-house playthroughs, with an extensive collection and even some games available for purchase. I loved that I could sit down, choose a game, and actually play it before deciding to bring it home. Thereβs a small fee to play, but it gives you access to a wide selection, which feels more than fair. Theyβre also opening a cooperative bookstore + gaming space soon, which honestly just adds to the charm. And yes β itβs also a coffee house. Excellent coffee, a fantastic tea and lemonade selection, and homemade goodies that make you want to linger. Iβve been quietly looking for a refuge in town β somewhere calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated β and this feels like it. A rare balance of cozy and engaging. π― recommend.
